No User Accounts: You are never required to create an account, log in, or provide personal details (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App.
No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, track, store, or sell any personal data or usage profiles.
Local Data Storage: All user-generated content—such as saved items, personal reflection notes, reading streaks, and customized tags—is stored strictly on your local device.
No Third-Party Advertising: The App is completely ad-free and contains no advertising SDKs or behavioural trackers.

2. Information We Handle

A. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The Application allows you to create, customize, and save content to assist your daily reading. All such data is saved directly on your device's internal storage and is never uploaded to our servers:

Bookmarks & Favorites: Hadith entries you choose to save for future reference.
Personal Reflection Notes: Private notes and reflections written by you.
Habit Tracking & Streaks: Daily reading logs, commitment check-ins, and streak counters.
Display & Language Preferences: Theme settings (e.g., Light, Dark, AMOLED, Emerald), typography choices, and preferred translation languages.

B. Network Communications & Content Delivery

To display authentic Hadith texts, translations, chapter indexes, and biographical metadata, the Application connects to secure online content delivery servers via encrypted HTTPS connections:

Data Transmitted: Only standard technical requests required to fetch the requested text chapters.
Data Not Transmitted: No device serial numbers, personal identifiers, user profiles, or location information are sent during these requests.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

Advertising: We do not partner with third-party advertising networks. There are no banner, interstitial, or rewarded advertisements in the Application.
Analytics & Tracking: We do not use third-party user tracking, telemetry, or analytics platforms to monitor your in-app behaviour.

4. Device Permissions and System Features

The Application requests minimal device capabilities to provide standard functionality:

Internet Access: Used exclusively to retrieve and refresh text content from secure content endpoints.
Home Screen Widgets: Allows you to view daily Hadith excerpts directly from your device's home screen. All widget processing occurs entirely on your device.
System Share Feature: When you choose to share a Hadith or image card, the content is handed directly to your device's native sharing menu. We have no visibility into the recipients or external applications you select.

5. Data Retention, Control, and Deletion

Because all personal data is stored locally on your device, you maintain complete ownership and control over your information at all times:

You can edit or delete individual notes, tags, and bookmarks directly within the App.
You can permanently erase all stored records and preferences at any time by clearing the Application's storage via your device settings or by uninstalling the Application.

6. Children's Privacy

Daily Hadith is appropriate for general audiences of all ages. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or process personal data from children under the age of 13.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate safeguards by keeping your personal reflections and usage data exclusively on your device. The security of your data is governed by your device's internal security architecture (including device lock screens, biometric protection, and app sandboxing).

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory updates. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date". We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
